I hope you are reading this message in the best of health and eeman. I ask Allah to make your heart attached to the Quran, and make it the spring of your heart. Allahumma Ameen.

I have had the privilege by the mercy of Allah to have studied under highly qualified teachers from Egypt, Syria and Morocco and other countries over a seven year period via online learning and overseas in-person classes and have achieved an Ijaazah in the Tuhfatul Atfaal poem by the mercy of Allah and studied Al Jazariyyah poem at ijaazah level also. A journey with the Quran is lifelong. I have recommendations from my teachers to take on students and teach and I still continue to better myself by Allah’s Permission on my journey of the sciences of Tajweed. I have over nine years of teaching experience, five of which are specifically teaching Tajweed as well as extensive involvement in developing online learning systems.

I chose the name ‘Maktabah Az Zahraa’ meaning ‘the library of flowers’ because I wish to help women grow and flourish by the aid of Allah, His Beautiful Words, and the knowledge He has taught us. My aim is to pass on what knowledge I can to beginners and more advanced students to remove major mistakes from the recitation and to help those who may find it difficult to attend classes in person.
